Glazing class to better understand the process. We will go over: -What are glazes? The difference between glaze and underglaze. -Layering glazes, how to layer 2-3 glazes. It can be done without having glaze run off your pot! -Underglaze application -Glazing large pottery -Pouring, painting glaze vs dipping -Prepping bisque for glazing and cleanliness throughout the process And more! This is a great class for students to dive deeper into glazing or refine their skills. This class is open to all skill levels and any glaze questions will be answered. The goal is to receive information on how to be more successful when glazing. Multiple demonstrations will be done. Including a demo will be done on how to glaze large bowls/platters. Note taking is encouraged! A processing fee will be charged for all cancellations.
